Hososhima Miyazaki Private Shore Excursion City Highlight 4H
Details
──────────────────
Overview
Begin your private shore excursion with convenient pickup directly from Hososhima Cruise Port. Travel in the comfort of your own private vehicle. Unlike a large group tour, there is no need to keep pace with other travelers, allowing you to enjoy each destination comfortably and at your own pace.
Begin at Omi Shrine, a historic seaside Shinto shrine known locally as the “Ise Shrine of Hyuga.” Explore its peaceful grounds overlooking the Pacific Ocean and discover sacred sites and distinctive rock formations associated with local legends.
Continue to Cape Hyuga and experience some of Miyazaki’s most dramatic coastal scenery. Visit the Sea Cross, where naturally formed rock formations create a cross-shaped view said to bring good fortune, and continue to Umagase, famous for its impressive columnar cliffs rising above the Pacific Ocean.
Next, visit the Mount Komenoyama Observatory, located approximately 192 meters above sea level. Enjoy panoramic views over Hyuga City, Hososhima Port, and the vast Pacific coastline.
If time permits, stop at Umi-no-Eki Hososhima, where you can browse local seafood and regional products before returning to the port.
Before your tour, you will receive an exclusive English digital guidebook with detailed information about the itinerary and each sightseeing location. Communication with the driver will be assisted by a translation app.
After experiencing the spiritual heritage and spectacular coastal scenery of Hyuga, your private vehicle will return you to Hososhima Cruise Port in time for your ship’s departure.
