  • Sun Messe Nichinan
    Visit Sun Messe Nichinan, a scenic park known for its impressive replicas of the Moai statues. Enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean from this distinctive coastal setting.

  • Michi-no-Eki Phoenix (Phoenix Roadside Station)

Overview

Begin your private shore excursion from Aburatsu Cruise Port and travel comfortably in your own private vehicle. Enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery of southern Miyazaki without having to follow the pace of a large group.

Start at Sun Messe Nichinan, a scenic hillside park overlooking the Pacific Ocean. See its famous seven Moai statues standing against the blue sea and enjoy panoramic views of the Nichinan Coast.

Continue along the coast to Michi-no-Eki Phoenix, where you can take in sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and the unusual wave-shaped rock formations known as the Devil’s Washboard.

Next, visit Aoshima, a small island surrounded by unique rock formations and subtropical vegetation. Cross Yayoi Bridge to Aoshima Shrine, located in the heart of the island, and explore the surrounding Devil’s Washboard formations created by natural erosion over millions of years.

Before the tour, you will receive an English digital guidebook with information about the itinerary and each sightseeing location. The driver speaks Japanese, and communication will be assisted by a translation app.

After exploring the highlights of the Nichinan Coast and Aoshima, return comfortably to Aburatsu Cruise Port in time for your ship’s departure.
